Two Teabags
Written & Performed by Colm Wynne
Directed by Rebecca-Jo Roberts

"I want to give you a bath. I want to wash the shame off your back and clean the hate out of your ears. I want to rid you of all the awful things. I want to rid myself of all the awful things. Because it's the first time I've seen myself, in a long time."

'Two Teabags' is a deeply vulnerable, darkly comic and unapologetically queer one-man show that explores the origin of queer shame, whether loving yourself or another comes first and if all the answers can be found at the bottom of a brew. Ultimately it is a cross-generational love letter addressed to the heart of anyone who has ever felt broken, alone or ashamed when navigating their queerness - with a dash of drag, Mika and Manchester FC.

"Gentle, riotous, funny and gloriously gay - it's a true celebration of identity, love and Pride." - A Young(ish) Perspective (****)

"Colm Wynne is a masterful storyteller... a perfect balance of humour and heart with a crisp, clear story told with the same effective cleverness that Out of Pocket always brings." - Merrily We Read Along

"An impressive debut from the Manchester-based writer-performer (Colm Wynne)" - The Reviews Hub (****)
